No. The 8619’s batching capabilities differ slightly than that of the 8025 or 8035 batch controller. The 8619 features a “Volume Dosing” function which is based on time whereas the 8025 or 8035 batch controller is based on the volume counting down to zero. With the 8619’s “Volume Dosing” function, one specific volume set-point is programmed into the device and once that volume set-point is reached, the 8619 then sends a command signal to open a valve and start the dosing based on a pre-programmed amount of time. Once that time expires, the command signal stops along with the dosing, the count up to the set-point starts again and the process repeats. This type of “time” based dosing is used typically in cooling tower applications.
The 8025/8035 batch controller on the other hand simply works by entering various volumes. A button is pressed on the keypad or an input signal is sent to the electronics to engage the relay and therefore opening the valve that is controlling the flow stream. This starts the countdown to zero. Once zero is reached, the relay disengages, closing the valve and stopping the flow. The process must be repeated manually.
No. If an analog output signal from a flow transmitter(i.e. 8035 or 8036) is connected into the 8619’s analog input card, the xmtr’s Flow Rate will register on the 8619 but the totalizers will not. The totalizers will only register when the input signal is a frequency pulse coming from a typical Hall effect flow sensor( i.e. 8020 or 8030).
Possible cause: Impedance mismatch(High Loop Resistance)
Possible Fix – A signal conditioner
Yes! You can configure a valve island of Type 8652 AirLINE yourself. Call up the type – e.g. via the search function – and start your first configuration.
At the bottom of the configuration tool, you can see your individual configuration code at any time.
Click on the “three dots” next to the configuration code to open a pop-up box from which you can copy the number.
Under this, you can see the result of your most recent work.
Entering the code in the search bar of our website will take you to your most recent work status.
Here, you also have the option of forwarding the link to your configuration.
This allows you to share your result with your colleagues or a Bürkert employee.
When you enter the code in the search, your most recent work is called up.
The validity date of your configuration also appears.
This is only necessary if you log in after configuring your desired product to complete your order.
After confirmation, you will be shown your customised price and the shipping date for your configuration.
They can be found in the S030 or S020 manual depending on the fitting being used.
