Intelligent, automated oxidising air dosing ensures reproducible and time-saving drinking water treatment
Automated oxidising air dosing in drinking water treatment in cooperation with Everswinkel Municipal Waterworks
Success story: Everswinkel Municipal Waterworks
In many waterworks, oxidation air is dosed manually via simple mechanical valves. An experienced waterworks supervisor can undoubtedly guarantee the quality of the drinking water in this way – but it is not possible to understand or document the supervisor’s approach.
When the composition or quantity of the drinking water fluctuates, cumbersome manual readjustment is necessary.
The Oxidatorbox works with a powerful, flexible, configurable mass flow controller as its key component. The compact system solution can automatically control the quantity of gas required for oxidation depending on different process parameters so that optimal results can be obtained with gas consumption kept as low as possible. In addition to consistent water quality at any time and documented and comprehensible process sequences, the automatic oxidising air dosing also offers substantial economic benefits from lower oxygen consumption or the optimised operation of compressors when dosing air.
