The worldwide market for latices and PVC offers a wide range of different products and applications. During the manufacturing process, big amounts of water accumulate as a "by-product", which in the final production stages need to be seperated again (latex dewatering).
The process of dewatering in many cases is done by using spray drying systems and requires a comparatively high energy input. Thus, a significant reduction of the water volume upstream of the drying process has proven to be a lot more economically viable.
With it´s T-CUT module familiy, a very dedicated membrane and special housings, CUT has a lot of experience in the ultrafiltration process required to save energy and money.
T-CUT – Tubular modules for microfiltration and ultrafiltration
